Two nurses were shot at a medical center in Dallas, Saturday, authorities said. 

A suspect was taken into custody at the scene.

Police responded to a call about a shooting at Methodist Dallas Medical Center at roughly 11:10 am local time, the Dallas Morning News reported

At least 10 cop cars could be seen parked outside the emergency department.

ABC affiliate WFAA said the suspect was shot by a hospital police officer. The incident took place near the labor and delivery area, WFAA reporter Rebecca Lopez tweeted.

It was unclear what led to the shooting, reports said.
