Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is reportedly remaining in Windsor with her children while other members of the Royal Family race to Balmoral, Scotland amid ongoing fears for Queen Elizabeth’s health.

Prince William, the second-in-line to the British throne, reportedly left Adelaide Cottage on the royal Windsor estate Thursday to join his relatives at Balmoral. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are also on their way to Scotland.

William and Kate relocated to Windsor recently with their three children – Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4 – all of whom were starting a new school year Thursday.

Wednesday afternoon, the happy family was photographed meeting the headmaster of Lambrook School in Berkshire for a new students’ day.

The world was shocked Thursday by a 29-word statement from Buckingham Palace confirming that doctors are “concerned” about the 96-year-old monarch’s condition.

While the Queen is reportedly resting conformably at Balmoral, her sons Prince Charles, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward are en route to her bedside along with Charles’ wife Camilla and Edward’s wife Sophie.

The Queen’s only daughter, Princess Anne was already in Scotland to carry out previously scheduled engagements there this week.
