Anxiety has affected some 50 million adults in the USA. While there needs to be more research and we cannot make any health claims, some have reported success using CBD for anxiety. It makes sense because CBD works with your bodies CB1 and CB2 receptors to keep the body in check. CBD helps direct the endocannabinoid system. Remember, from our other blogs that CBD is the driver of the bus after all. It helps direct the ECB and optimize the system and the terpenes are the VIP passengers along for the ride to help.
You can read our blog on Talkin’ bout Terpenes and learn about some of the key terpenes that help anxiety.
How much CBD should I take?
While the use of CBD for anxiety can be different for many, depending on the severity, what we recommend at Peak City CBD is to start slow and low and work your way up. We would recommend starting with a 500-1500mmg Peak City CBD oil and taking 1-2 droppers per day… see what this does and go from there. It might be that you can take more droppers each day. Or it might be that you need a higher strength to begin with. Peak City CBD offers 2500mg strengths as well!
Anxiety affects everyone differently, and the dosing might be different for everyone. Start low and slow and go from there if you are not familiar with what it can do for you.
Since CBD is still under extensive research and is yet to be FDA approved, these testimonials can give you a better insight into the benefits of CBD oil, but they are by no means as credible as, for example, clinical research, which is lacking at the moment.
Be sure to checkout our new Terpene-Targeted CBD oil called CHILL BERRY that is targeted with certain terpenes. Please contact us if you have more questions.
