Amber Heard has filed to appeal the jury verdict ordering her to pay Johnny Depp $10 million in damages in his defamation case against her, court records show.

Lawyers for Heard, 36, filed the “notice of intent to appeal” Thursday in Fairfax County, Virginia, court, records show.

A Fairfax, Virginia, jury sided with the 59-year-old “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor last month, finding that his ex-wife defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed piece on being a victim of domestic abuse.

The “Aquaman” actress won a $2 million jury verdict against Depp on one of her claims that he defamed her.

Heard’s appeal comes on the heels of a judge denying her bid for a new trial on multiple grounds including a juror snafu that, she argued, prejudiced the outcome of the case.

“The jury listened to the extensive evidence presented during the six week trial and came to a clear and unanimous verdict that the defendant herself defamed Mr. Depp in multiple instances,” a spokesperson for the actor said in a statement Thursday.

“We remain confident in our case and that this verdict will stand.”
